Cooking Leveling Guide | WoW Cooking Guide 1 - 525

I made this Cooking guide for you so you level up yourCooking  profession as fast as possible from 1 to 525. It is of course compatible with the newest expansion Cataclysm.

In this Cooking Leveling Guide I included all the food you need for cook, so you will just fly through the leveling process. It is recommended to have also Fishing, because many ingredients require fish. So you may also want to check my Fishing Leveling Guide as well.

If you want to earn a lot of money with your professions (also with farming certain materials), I warmly recommend this Tycoon Gold Addon. It is an in-game addon, with it you will dominate the game without endless grinding.

If you are leveling up your character, I would recommend you a good WoW Leveling Guide, which shows you in-game (it's an addon) where to go and which quest to do. Personally I use Zygor Guides and it took me 5 days of playtime from level 1 to 85.

Cooking Leveling Guide 1 - 80

First of all, you need to learn Cooking. You must visit a Cooking Trainer in one of the main Cities of Azeroth. You just ask guard for the exact location and learn Apprentice Cooking.

• 1 - 40

  60 x [Spice Bread] - 60 x [Simple Flour], 60 x Mild Spices

• 40-80

  40 x [Smoked Bear Meat] - 40 x [Bear Meat]

  or you can also make [Spiced Wolf Meat] if you find wolves.

  At 75, visit Cooking trainer.

 

Cooking Guide 80 - 130

Visit the Cooking trainer and learn Cooking Journeyman.

• 80 - 130

  Go to Zoram Strand in Ashenvale at the sea site. Farm sea animals there and make:

  [Boiled Clams] - 1 x Clam Meat, 1 x Refreshing Spring Water - open [Small Barnacled Clam] and get clam meat
  [Crab Cake] - 1 x Crawler Meat

 

Cooking Leveling Guide 130 - 225

Visit the Cooking trainer and learn Cooking Expert.

• 130 - 175

  When killing Raptors for Raptor Egg's, make sure you save [Raptor Flesh], because you will need them in the next step.

  50 x [Curiously Tasty Omelet] - 50 x [Raptor Egg]

• 175 - 225

  50 x [Roast Raptor] - 50 x [Raptor Flesh]

 

Cooking Guide 225 - 300

Visit the Cooking trainer and learn Cooking Artisan.

• 225 - 250

  25 x [Monster Omelet] - 25 x Giant Egg

• 250 - 285
  40 x [Juicy Bear Burger] - 40 x [Bear Flank]

• 285 - 300

  15 x [Smoked Desert Dumplings] - 15 x [Sandworm Meat]

  To get this recipe, you need to complete the following quests chain:

  1. Desert Recipe
  2. Sharing the Knowledge

 

Cooking Leveling Guide 300 - 350

Visit the Cooking trainer and learn Cooking Master.

• 300 - 325

  30 x [Ravager Dog] - 30 x [Ravager Flesh]

  or

  30 x [Buzzard Bites] - 30 x [Buzzard Meat]

  To get this recipe, you need to complete the following quests chain:

  1. Ravager Egg Roundup
  2. Helboar, the Other White Meat
  3. Smooth as Butter

• 325 - 350

  35 x [Talbuk Steak] - 35 x [Talbuk Venison]

or

35 x [Roasted Clefthoof] - 35 x [Clefthoof Meat]

or

35 x [Warp Burger] - 35 x [Warped Flesh]

 

Cooking Guide 350 - 450

Visit the Cooking trainer and learn Cooking Grand Master.

• 350 - 365

  You must take and complete Northern Cooking quest in order to get [Northern Stew] recipe.

  20 x [Northern Stew] - 20 x Chilled Meat

• 365 - 375

  At this point there are a lot of recipes thought by Cooking trainer. You can make any of them up to 375, but I recommend going Rhino Dogs. There are lots of Rhinos around Warsong Hold in Borean Tundra.

13 x [Rhino Dogs] - 13 x [Rhino Meat]

• 375 - 415

  I recommend doing Rhino Dogs up to 415.

• 415 - 430
  15 x [Darkbrew Lager]- 30 x Skin of Dwarven Stout, 15 x Jug of Bourbon

  If you want you can make these up to 440. Buy the reagents at these vendors.

• 430 - 450
  20 x [Blackened Surprise] - 20 x Toughened Fles

 

Cooking Leveling Guide 450 - 525

Visit the Cooking trainer and learn Cooking Illustrious Grand Master.

At this point you must purchase the new recipes with [Chef's Award]. It is obtained by doing the daily quests from Marogg (Horde) or Robby Flay (Alliance). When you have enough rewards, visit Shazdar (Horde) or Bario Matalli (Alliance) and buy new recipes.

• 450 - 475
  Any of the following:
  

  [Striped Lurker] - [Recipe: Lightly Fried Lurker] or [Recipe: Lurker Lunch]
  [Lavascale Catfish] - [Recipe: Lavascale Fillet]
  [Blood Shrimp] - [Recipe: Whitecrest Gumbo]
  [Monstrous Claw] - [Recipe: Seasoned Crab]
  [Snake Eye] - [Recipe: Salted Eye]

  You can farm the reagents from [Blood Shrimp]. You get Blood Shrimp inside [Abyssal Clam], dropped by most mobs in Vashj'ir.

• 475 - 500
  Any of the following:

  [Highland Guppy] - [Recipe: Pickled Guppy]
  [Blood Shrimp] - [Recipe: Hearty Seafood Soup]

• 500 - 525
  Any of the following:

  [Algaefin Rockfish] - [Recipe: Baked Rockfish]
  [Basilisk "Liver"] - [Recipe: Basilisk Liverdog]
  [Crocolisk Tail] - [Recipe: Beer-Basted Crocolisk] or [Recipe: Crocolisk Au Gratin]

  [Deepsea Sagefish] - [Recipe: Delicious Sagefish Tail] or [Recipe: Severed Sagefish Head]

Leveling Cooking is a good choice. It is quite profitable profession, you can earn a lot of gold with it. IMO, Tycoon Gold Addon is the best in-game addon ever made. Using it I found out all the other MUCH more profitable ways to get tons of gold easily. I warmly recommend it to you if you want to dominate the game without endless grinding.
