Savage Leather Farming | Best Place to Farm Savage Leather

Do you want to level up your Skinning and Leatherworking? Or you just want to farm [Savage Leather] for profit? I have found out that I can make a lot of gold selling it in auction house. There are quite few good farming spot in the newest Cataclysm zones. But I have made a list of the best ones.

Savage Leather

Keep in mind that if you want to skin mobs, you need to loot them first. This means while farming you can get a lot of other thrash loot (of course also worth some gold, so don't throw it away). So make yourself a favor and before you go anywhere, clear your bags!

Vashj'ir - Shimmering Expanse

If you are not level 85 yet, this place is perfect for you. Around this area (check the map below) you kill and skin Sandskin Pincers and Snapjaw Groupers. They are very weak and easy to kill.

Tol Barad

When your faction control the Tol Barad this is the best place to farm Savage Leather. A lot of players will then go there and do the daily quest called Swamp Bait. They are not all skinners, this means there will be plenty of dead Baradin Crocolisks to skin. Check the map:

Twilight Highlands

There are a lot of animals to skin here at this area. The mobs you kill and skin are: Untamed Gryphons, Highland Elks, Tawny Owls, and Highland Worgs. I marked the area on the map:

Tol Barad Peninsula

My personal best place for Savage Leather farming is in Tol Barad Peninsula. Not only because you can skin tons of Savage Leather, but also because at this place there are lots of daily quests for both faction. Farming certain mats can be sometimes very boring. And I like some world PvP (of course if you are on PvP sever), which entertains me a bit :P. This place is perfect also because there is a daily quest where you need to kill Darkwood Lurkers and Darkwood Broodmothers. Since a lot of players do this daily, there are a lot of dead mobs around this area, all you need is to skin them. Here is the exact location:

Savage Leather farming and selling it in Auction House may be one of the ways to earn gold in World of Warcraft. IMO, Tycoon Gold Addon is the best in-game addon ever made. Using it I found out all the other MUCH more profitable ways to get tons of gold easily. I warmly recommend it to you if you want to dominate the game without endless grinding.
