Skinning Leveling Guide | WoW Skinning Guide 1 - 525
I made this Skinning guide for you so you level up your Skinning profession as fast as possible from 1 to 525. It is of course compatible with the newest expansion Cataclysm.
In this Skinning Leveling Guide I included all the best routes and zones, so you will just fly through the leveling process. Skinning goes well with Leatherworking. So you may also want to check my Leatherworking Leveling Guide.
If you want to earn a lot of money with your professions (also with farming certain materials), I warmly recommend this Tycoon Gold Addon. It is an in-game addon, with it you will dominate the game without endless grinding.
If you are leveling up your character, I would recommend you a good WoW Leveling Guide, which shows you in-game (it's an addon) where to go and which quest to do. Personally I use Zygor Guides and it took me 5 days of playtime from level 1 to 85.

Skinning Leveling Guide 1 - 60
First of all, you need to learn Skinning. You must visit a Skinning Trainer in one of the main Cities of Azeroth. You just ask guard for the exact location and learn Apprentice Skinning.
Before you go anywhere, you need to buy a Skinning Knife.

Visit the Skinning trainer and learn Skinning Journeyman.
Loch Modan (Alliance)

When you get to 150, visit your trainer to learn Skinning Expert.
Wetlands (Alliance)

Visit Skinning trainer and learn Skinning Artisan.

From now on you will get skill up much less frequently. Go to Outlands and learn Skinning Master: Alliance - Jelena Nightsky (Honor Hold), Horde - Moorutu (Thrallmar). Stay in Hellfire Peninsula untill 330, then go to Nagrand. Just follow my path:
Hellfire Peninsula (300-330)
Nagrand (330-360)
There are lots of Talbuks and Clefthoofs here in this zone. Kill them and skin them up to 360.
Skinning Guide 360 - 450
Visit Skinning trainer and learn Skinning Grand Master.
Borean Tundra (360-395)
Kill and skin all the Rhinos you come across.
Sholazar Basin (395-450)
Kill all the Gorillas.
Skinning Leveling Guide 450 - 525
Visit Skinning trainer and learn Skinning Illustrious.
Mount Hyjal
Note that you can't farm at this place if you have done all the quests in Hyjal. In this case, go to Vashj'ir - Shimmering Expanse.
Leveling Skinning is a good choice. It is quite profitable profession, you can earn a lot of gold with it. IMO, Tycoon Gold Addon is the best in-game addon ever made. Using it I found out all the other MUCH more profitable ways to get tons of gold easily. I warmly recommend it to you if you want to dominate the game without endless grinding.
